How safe is a safari and Tanzania?Tanzania is very safe. That said, you do need to take the usual precautions. Avoid isolated areas, especially stretches of beaches. In cities and tourist areas, take a taxi at night. As far as a safe safari, listen to your guide. They have many years of experience of animal behavior.

What about passports and visas?Your expiration date on your passport needs to be at least 6 months past your visit to Tanzania. A visa is required to enter Tanzania. The easiest way to file for a visa is on IVisa. we can help you with the process.

When is the best time to come?Visiting Tanzania is great anytime of the year. There is the dry season and a rainy season.

Do I need any vaccines?There are no required vaccines to enter Tanzania if you are coming from the USA or Europe. Malaria pills are recommended. Check with your Dr. or a travel clinic.

What do I pack?Keep it light!!! Its best to invest in some lightweight Merino wool shirts and some hiking pants. They pack easy, don't smell and dry quickly. Stay away from dark blues and blacks. Those colors attract the teetsie flys. Women, wear a sports bra, the roads are bumpy!! If you will be transferring on a smaller plane, there are weight and measurement guidelines.
